RotoZip cut faster and longer

The new RotoZip X-Cores™ makes light work of difficult freehand cuts in all hard tiles and stone.

RotoZip cut faster and longer

When used with the RotoZip Spiral Saws, one single X-Core bit can cut up to 100 holes in porcelain – absolutely dry.

The new X-Core bits come in eight different sizes. Working diameters range from 6 mm (for drilling standard fixings and micro bore – radiators/heating) up to 35 mm for mains supply pipes and commercial applications.

They have a shank diameter of 6.3 mm and can cut to a depth of 30 mm. With these new cores, professional tradesmen can make clear cuts without blow-out in the hardest materials including porcelain, granite, marble and natural stone. The X-Cores are also suitable for extending or correcting existing holes.

The new X-Core bits are produced using Vacuum Brazed Technology: a special braze process in a vacuum chamber at more than 1000° Celsius. This leads to a better particle alignment and a controlled depth of encapsulation in comparison to the electroplated diamonds on regular diamond drills. The unique production process guarantees a considerably longer lifetime and allows the fastest speed in comparison to that of conventional bits for spiral saws.

The tools are perfect for cutting dry wall, kitchen worktops, wall tiles and floor tiles. They also make precise cuts in sanitary installation and metalworking applications.
