Norbord’s Devon-based Health & Safety Manager, Maria Collett, and Caberdecor/Lamination Operator, Tony Waters, enjoyed a royal day out when they attended The Royal Society for Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Centenary Royal Garden Party at Buckingham Palace.

As a member of RoSPA, South Molton has participated in their awards for the past five years, gaining five consecutive gold awards and a gold medal.

RoSPA was established in 1916 in response to concerns over pedestrian deaths caused by World War I blackouts. Since then, the society has campaigned to improve safety for everyone, including the introduction of seat belts, cycle schemes and other successful safety campaigns.
