Ridgeons took the prize following an examination of their performance, including the way in which they work with the whole supply chain to deliver quality and continuous performance.

The awards evening also showcased presentations from each category winner to an audience of architects, quantity surveyor practitioners and development companies. Ridgeons key account manager, Andrew Gort presented on the history and values of the family business and gave an insight into how they operate.

Gort said: “We are delighted to have been awarded Supplier of the Year. We as a business are constantly learning and developing to ensure we continue to deliver unrivalled knowledge, solutions and outcomes for our customers. Our rich history has allowed us to develop an innate understanding of what our customers want and need, which allows us to be best placed to support them with all their building project requirements.”
