The Porotherm masonry system from Wienerberger is now being distributed in East Anglian bytimber and builders’ merchant, Ridgeons.
Porotherm offers contractors significantly increased construction speeds, leading to quicker completion, due to easy to handle lightweight blocks, fast setting joints that enables first fix to begin sooner, and intrinsic strength of 10N/mm2 that allows virtually unrestricted build heights.
The precision engineered blocks are 100 per cent recyclable and are highly thermally efficient, and the system itself uses up to 95% less water on site, thanks to the use of specialist thin bed joint mortar.
