Independent timber and builders’ merchants The Ridgeon Group has appointed Jeremy (Jem) Slee, as the new general manager of its specialist timber division, Ridgeons Forest Products.
Based at Ridgeons’ timber processing plant in Herringswell, Slee will be instrumental in driving the growth of the Group’s timber division, while expanding relationships with existing clients.
In his new role, he will be responsible for managing all aspects of the timber operation; from sourcing and importing, to processing and distribution, supplying both Ridgeons’ merchant branches and external customers direct. Slee is also responsible for leading the Ridgeons’ Forest Products external sales team, which covers a geographical area that stretches from Essex to South Yorkshire.
