Ahead of Easter, branch colleagues and customers gave a variety of chocolate eggs for the children, young people and their families who depend of the care and support of the local hospice.
Mark Johnson, the Nuffield Road Branch Manager, said: “We’re delighted to have gathered over one hundred chocolate eggs for EACH’s hospice in Milton. I’d like to thank our fantastic customers for their generosity and, and my team for supporting this collection alongside their busy jobs.”
Kellie Charge, Corporate Fundraiser for EACH, commented: “We would like to thank the staff at Ridgeons and their customers for all of their efforts in collecting this delightful Easter gift for the hospice.”
The donation of eggs is in addition to Ridgeons’ company-wide fundraising for EACH, its current charity partner. Since the two-year partnership launched one year ago, the business is already on track to beat its target of £30,000.
Colleagues across all 26 branches are planning more fundraising for EACH this year to support the charity in delivering care for 368 children and young people with life-threatening conditions and supporting 459 family members across the region. Ridgeons’ activity includes taking part in campaigns including Children’s Hospice Week in May, EACHFest in the summer, and EACHmas in December.
The branch at Nuffield Road recently celebrated the opening of its brand new showroom comprising of 10 kitchens and 23 bathrooms by Symphony, Masterclass Kitchens as well as other famous brands.
