Available at www.richardburbidge.com, DECKPLANNER allows users to choose from the company¡¦s complete range of outdoor balustrade, deckboards and joists to create plans, parts lists and project costs in just a few steps.

FREE and easy to use, DECKPLANNER is designed to make planning a deck or outdoor area with balustrade quick and hassle-free. After confirming the type of balustrade system they’re looking for – domestic, raised or commercial; and the appropriate balustrade strength category required to satisfy UK Building Regulations, users can access full details of all Richard Burbidge outdoor balustrade ranges. They can then begin to select from the type of timber, spindles, panels and newel designs desired. At this stage deckboards and joists can also be added with options for size and orientation.

To help calculate the number of components required, users can then confirm their deck size and define each side as open, against a wall or fitted with balustrade, on a virtual deck layout.

DECKPLANNER is a useful selling tool for stockists, who can use the service to design a deck or outdoor area with balustrade online for customers while they are in-store. Its launch follows on from that of the Stairplanner service for desiging staircases online.
