Retrofit Summit to discuss ECO’s future

The future of ECO, how to engage customers and making retrofit work at scale will be the focus of the Retrofit Summit on 05 December at the Business Design Centre in London.
The Summit is being held on the day that Chancellor George Osborne makes his Autumn Statement in which, it is widely believed, he will strike the death knell of the Energy Company Obligation.

David Strong from the Energy Efficiency Partnership for Buildings will open the one day policy conference with a debate on the future for ECO.

A panel session chaired by Solitaire Townsend, co-founder of Futerra, will look at whether or not customers are being engaged with effectively, while the afternoon looks at the challenge of making retrofit work at scale- from technical and access issues, through to finance, skills and the need for collaboration.

The conference will conclude with a retrofit question time where a panel of policy and industry experts will take questions from delegates on hot retrofit topics of the day.

The Retrofit Summit will be co-located within Retro Expo – an exhibition of retrofit innovation featuring approximately 70 exhibitors including leading names such as BASF, Kingspan, ABBE and SIG360 Retrofit. Tickets for the Retrofit Summit cost £195 per person + VAT. To book your Retrofit Summit tickets, download a programme or to register for Retro Expo visit: www.retro-expo.co.uk
