PTS puts money where mouth is

Following the success of their merchant Carbon Monoxide Awareness Week in January, PTS are putting their advice into action by providing all of their employees with CO detectors.

PTS puts money where mouth is

By ensuring staff make their own homes a carbon monoxide-free zone, the company will continue to communicate the need for improved gas safety to the industry. From this it is hoped awareness can be passed on to the installer and to homeowners who may not have previously considered this hidden danger.

PTS managing director Alan Ball said: “PTS staff, and indeed all employees within The BSS Group plc, now have their own CO detector following the start of our campaign to make more people in the industry aware of the importance of gas safety. As well as making sure our staff are safe, this supports the initiatives that we as a Company are continuing to work on this year in addition to my continued work on the CORGI board of trust.

“The Group has over 4,800 employees in total and if just one extra household is moved to buy a CO detector or get their boiler serviced thanks to the recommendation of our staff, all of our efforts will have been more than worthwhile.”
