Russell Roof Tiles has strengthened its technical department with a series of promotions. Mark Parsons and Adrian Ryding have been promoted to Technical Director and Technical Manager.
Roofing firm Russell Roof Tiles is a UK independent manufacturer of concrete tiles and fittings and is the only British roof tile manufacturer to have been awarded an “Excellent” rating for responsible sourcing under BES 6001, reflecting its commitment to the environment.
The business is always looking to expand its product portfolio with an extensive range of products in development, as well as the redesign of existing products to improve performance and efficiencies. This programme of development is led by the company’s technical department.
Parsons has over 36 years’ construction experience including working in conjunction with leading national bodies such as the National Home Building Council (NHBC) and the National Federation of Roofing Contractors (NFRC). Since 2014 he has represented the company on the technical committee and is the current Chair of the marketing committee for the Roof Tile Association (RTA) which represents the UK’s leading manufacturers of pitched roof solutions, of which Russell Roof Tiles was a founding member. The Roof Tile Association provides an authoritative source of information relating to pitch roofs.
Ryding joined Russells in 2013 and is a roofing specialist as well as being a member of the Institute of Roofing. He also has many years of experience having gained a broad range of knowledge having worked with other leading roofing tile manufacturers in concrete, clay and slate products.

As well as the recent promotions, Russell Roof Tiles is also looking to expand the team with the appointment of a Technical Administrator to join the technical department based at the head office in Burton.
