Paint and decorating manufacturer PPG Architectural Coatings has signed up for the Rainy Day Trust’s Partnership scheme.
The Rainy Day Trust is the only charity specifically serving the needs of the home improvement industry. Through annual pensions and one-off grants, it assists people who have spent a significant part of their working lives in the industry and who now find they need a helping hand.
Since 2003, the Trust has given away more than £1m – nearly all of it raised through the generosity of companies like PPG Architectural Coatings.
“When we heard about the Partnership scheme, it was an easy decision” said Paddy Lafford – sales director – stockists. “We’re very happy that by becoming a Partner, we’re giving something back. We will certainly be encouraging other companies to do likewise.”
