National housebuilder Bloor Homes has chosen Potterton as its sole supplier of boilers across all regions for the next two years.
Potterton sales director (newbuild) Steve Rickards explained that the company was “delighted” by the deal with Bloor, who build more than 2,000 homes every year.
He continued, “The whole Potterton Promax range, at the very least, exceeds the 90% efficiency required by Part L of the Building regulations. And the lowest in the range has 90.7% efficiency.
“In fact, with 91.3% efficiency, the Promax HE Plus and SL 15kW boilers are the UK’s highest SEDBUK rated heat only boilers, offering an economical way for housebuilders to achieve a level three in the Code for Sustainable Homes.”
A spokesperson for Bloor Homes said: “When choosing a boiler supplier, we do not look at price alone. Importantly, we compare energy efficiency and product performance. The Potterton Promax SL and Promax Combi ranges offer some of the best efficiency ratings in their class, with the added benefit of heateam’s technical and service backup and a complete heating design facility through New Design.”
