Based at Polypipe Ventilation’s head office in Kirk Sandall, Doncaster, the new Centre is a bright and spacious double height glazed building which provides installers and distributors with all the facilities necessary to gain an in-depth knowledge of Polypipe’s solutions and product offering.

The Polypipe Ventilation equipment on display at the Centre includes energy saving, whole house Silavent Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery (MVHR) and CMX Mechanical Extract Ventilation (MEV) units; Domus rigid and Radial semi-rigid duct systems and accessories; Silavent Positive Input Ventilation (PIV) to address condensation in existing properties; plus an extensive display of Silavent bathroom and kitchen fans, covering intermittent axial, in-line and centrifugal extract fans and dMEV units.

As the proud recipient of a number of prestigious industry awards, including most recently the Housebuilder Best Services Product award for its Domus Green Line high efficiency rigid duct bends, Polypipe Ventilation has dedicated a section at the new Centre to highlight its success and the associated products.

A range of training courses is now available at the Professional Development Centre for installers looking to ensure they have the key skills needed to undertake and commission a successful domestic ventilation system and for distributors who require an overview of the systems and accessories available. Training options include the formal industry-recognised BPEC accredited two-day training programme for domestic Ventilation Installers (originally written by Polypipe Ventilation), which incorporates theoretical training and practical exercises, through to specific product training carried out by Polypipe Ventilation’s Technical Manager Jon Hill.  Jon’s 40 plus years in engineering and his wealth of technical knowledge and hands on installation experience in the field of domestic ventilation has made him a leading industry figure.

To accommodate the range of training on offer, meeting rooms with full facilities, including catering, are provided at Polypipe’s Professional Development Centre.  These are also available to customers wishing to host their own events.

This latest development is part of an integrated approach by Polypipe Ventilation to provide the very best customer service, which has also recently seen the creation of a new dedicated Project Support team and the launch of a BIM (Building Information Modelling) Library, available free of charge, to help construction professionals to digitally model a ventilation system within a specific building, helping reduce the risk of mistakes or discrepancies.
