Plumbing and heating merchant HPS has raised over £12,500 for its chosen charity this year.

Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital has now received a total of £29,118 from HPS’s fund-raising efforts with customers, staff and suppliers. This is enough to build of a new cardiac critical care reception area to be located within the new hospital redevelopment.

HPS sales director Peter Wilson said: “We are delighted to support such a worthwhile cause and meeting the staff and patients during our recent hospital tour has only served to make us even more determined to redouble our fund raising efforts this year.

“We are currently looking at a number of fund raising opportunities within each of our branches during the forthcoming football World Cup competition”
