Planit Fusion Version 15, the latest release from Planit International, provides new levels of imaging realism for bathroom suppliers.

Planit launch Version 15

Launched at this month’s KBB show at Birmingham’s NEC Version 15 of Planit Fusion offers comprehensive up-to-the-minute data on an expanding range of bathroom and spa manufacturers’ products , say the company. It was produced with close collaboration with leading producers including Twyfords, Villeroy & Boch, Jacuzzi, Roca and Showerlux and complements the well-established versions for the kitchen and bedroom sectors.

It provides photorealistic 3D images, using regularly updated information form the manufacturers, in order to design layouts for bathrooms. New features in Planit Fusion 15 include state-of-the-art tiling and surface covering functionality. And, two new options have been added to the toolbar and file menu to allow instant access and importing of 3D models from Google Sketchup.

The introduction of new visualisation functionality not only provides higher resolution and more lifelike image rendering and control, but also significantly faster operation – allowing users to quickly and easily generate stunning photo-realistic representations of their designs without the need for painstaking positioning of additional light sources.

The software also updates existing image views without dead screen time, to provide an uncluttered representation of the room. This feature allows for seamless image updating as amendments are made.

Additional productivity enhancements include new perspective navigation and ‘walkthrough’ capabilities, as well as the ability to export screen images as jpeg files for inclusion in customer PowerPoint presentations, for example.
