Pipe Center wins modular contract

Bransholme Health Centre in Hull will house 11 GP practices and cater for a wide range of health and community services. The centre will include audiology services, community nursing teams, family planning clinic, cardiac services, and speech and language therapy. It is currently under construction and due to open in 2012.

Binks Building Services of Hull has worked closely on the planning and design of the offsite solution with Modular Engineering. It will require 93 modules, each equipped with the services for heating, hot and cold water and electrical containment.

The units are now under construction at Pipe Centre’s 30,000 sq ft facility in Worcester, with delivery scheduled for mid-September. The pre-tested modules will be located in position onsite, and then simply connected up.
