Pendle Doors buy Palgrave Brown door division

Lancashire door people Pendle Doors Group have bought the doors division of Palgrave Brown, saving 23 jobs at the firm’s Castleford site.
The Palgrave Brown group went into administration at the end of last year and the assets are being sold off where possible.

Managing Director of Pendle Doors, Steve Anderson, said: “This latest acquisition represents a strategic move to penetrate new markets, which will not only compliment but add real value to our core business activities. It has always been our plan to develop and expand the business in this way, so this has come as a welcomed opportunity. This could virtually double our turnover.”

Pendle Doors are long-established manufacturers of bespoke doors and door frames and suppliers of a wide range of ‘off the shelf’ doors.
