Martyn Bridges, director of marketing and technical support at Worcester, Bosch Group, has been appointed as the new Chairman of the Oil Firing Technical Association, OFTEC.
The appointment, which takes effect on April 25 2013, sees Bridges commence a two-year spell as chairman of the organisation, for which he has sat on various committees since its inception in 1991.
Formed in 1991, OFTEC aims to promote excellence. The association comprises the majority of companies operating within the oil heating and cooking industry.
Having started working at Worcester as a technical services engineer in 1986, Bridges worked in a number of roles and departments before taking up his present position as director of marketing and technical support, which he has held since 2005.
