Obituary: Rob Simpson

SCA Timber Supply UK has announced the sudden and untimely death of its managing director Robert

Simpson.
He suffered a fatal heart attack in the afternoon of Tuesday, 16th

October, at the company’s Stoke-on-Trent offices.

The company says it extends its heartfelt and sincere sympathies to his widow and

family.

John White, chief executive of the Timber Trade Federation said: “On behalf of the Timber Trade Federation and all its members I would like to extend our sympathy and condolences to Rob’s family. We are all extremely shocked and saddened at this news.

“Rob was a great champion of the timber sector and a truly inspirational figure. He will be missed by me personally and all of us across the trade.”
