Independent builders merchant buying group NMBS is 50 years old next year and is celebrating with a new logo.

NMBS moves forward with new look

The group has also announced that it has committed to making all its 2013 events bigger and better than ever before whilst providing the best possible service to members.

The highlights of 2013 will include the following:

  • 50th Anniversary Luncheon – To be held at a prestigious location in London to celebrate NMBS 50th year of successful trading.
  • NMBS Exhibition – By moving into two halls the 2013 exhibition, which will be held at the Telford International Centre on the 15th May will be biggest and best yet.
  • New NMBS Website – The new NMBS Website will be more interactive, videos will be included throughout the website to make it more dynamic and it will be smart phone enabled.
  • Merchant Pages – We have introduced the ‘Merchant Pages’ with the objective to create a single source of reference for all building product data throughout the UK, by creating an industry standard output and a one stop shop for all merchants and suppliers.
  • NMBS Dinner Dance – With exciting acts being booked this will ensure the Dinner Dance remains as the biggest and best social event in the calendar

    NMBS managing director Chris Hayward says: “The new modern NMBS brand shows that we are 50 years young and we clearly aim to continue to be forward thinking and innovative as we strive for growth in what is still a tough trading climate. I would like to thank all of our merchant members and suppliers for their continued support and we look forward to a prosperous and exciting 2013.”
