NMBS move confirmed for next week

Independent builders merchant buying group NMBS is moving offices the week before Christmas.

The organisation will be moving next Monday (December 19) into 10 Merus Court, Meridian Business park, Leicester, LE19 1RJ which is just a short drive from Junction 21 of the M1.

The new building is much easier to find with over 20 dedicated car spaces and lots of free off road parking nearby and conveniently placed within a very short distance of the Hilton and Marriott Hotels and the Meridian Business and Leisure Park.

NMBS plans to offer meeting facilities to all members and suppliers, as well as taking full advantage of the better office layout and facilities; which although they take up approximately the same floor space as the existing building, functional departments will be better situated on two floors rather than three, making working together much easier.

NMBS managing director, Chris Hayward says: “The new modern office will provide us the platform to continue to grow as a business as well as allowing us to provide the best possible services to our membership.

“At NMBS we have experienced positive growth in 2011 for the first time since the recession and we have lots of other positive moves in the pipeline that you will be hearing from us in due course. They will not obviously all include moving location, however with a clear business strategy to deliver more sales growth in 2012 with the introduction of Category Management and better member support via improved marketing and Tele-sales we are very confident of a successful future for NMBS and its members.”
