NMBS members place record orders at show

Independent builders merchants buying group NMBS has reported record attendance at its 2010 Exhibition last month.
Over 400 Member delegates attended and also placed a record number of orders – over £450,000 -on the Spot Buy and Pallet Alley Stands.

NMBS Managing Director, Chris Hayward, says of the event: ‘This was one of our biggest and best Exhibitions to date. With more members attending and more orders being placed it was a success for all involved.’

The main theme of many of the stands was football, ranging from table football, to famous referees, to football giveaways. The referee who is most famous for giving a player three yellow cards in the last world cup, Graham Poll, was signing copies of his book on the Makita Stand, while Parker Merchanting and The Walsall Wheelbarrow Company won Best Stand for their elaborate joint stand covered in England flags, where everyone received a free England Hard Hat.
