This year’s NMBS Conference in Marbella in June is one of the finalists in the Best Conference category at the Eventia Awards.
The Conference was the first all industry conference for four years, and 373 delegates attended.
Among the highlights were keynote speeches from Evening Standard economics editor Anthony Hilton, Paul Morrell, the Chief Government Advisor on Construction and business consultant Alistair Dryburgh.
The event was chaired by Olympic athlete Roger Black who, along with fellow Olympian Steve Backley talked to delegates about their experiences winning – and not winning – medals.
Those who couldn’t attend the three-day event were able to follow the proceedings on the liveblog produced by conference media partner BMJ.
Chris Hayward, NMBS managing director said: “The Eventia Awards 2012 aim to recognise and reward the best of the events industry, and NMBS are proud that our conference has been named as a finalist.”
The Awards will be presented at the London Hilton, Park Lane on Friday 30th November.
