With three weeks to go until the NMBS All Industry Conference 2014, the full line-up of guest speakers has been confirmed.
The event, taking place from 19-22 June at the Gran Melia Palacio de Isora hotel in Tenerife, will be hosted by experienced sports broadcaster James Pearce.
Pearce spent 21 years working at the BBC, chiefly as a sports correspondent before going freelance last year and was heavily involved in the broadcaster’s coverage of the London 2012 Olympic Games.
Key speakers include former England rugby head coach Sir Clive Woodward OBE, who managed England to World Cup success in 2003, brand expert Rita Clifton and Government chief construction advisor Peter Handsford.
Clifton has been called ‘the doyenne of branding’ by Campaign magazine, ‘brand guru’ by the Financial Times and the Daily Telegraph described her as ‘the brand leading the brands’.
Handsford was appointed Government chief construction advisor since December 2012. Previously, he was an executive director at the Nichols Group and has over 30 years of experience in the development and delivery of major infrastructure and building projects.
Other speakers include founder & managing partner of the brandgym David Taylor, entrepreneur and author Shed Simove and Group CEO of customer insight company Beyond Analysis Paul Alexander will all feature at this year’s conference.
Also confirmed for the event are Paul McGee, who wrote the book SUMO (Shut Up, Move On) and is a specialist in workplace relationships and motivation, customer service expert Linda Moir who headed the Events Services team at the 2012 Olympic games, Mike Rigby who has been at the forefront of brand building in the industry with MRA marketing, and lastly development director at Sky Sports and chairman of Team Sky Robert Tansey, who was a key architect in Sky’s relationship with British cycling.
