NMBS boosts marketing function by two

Independent builders merchant buying group NMBS has recruited two new marketing assistants to join its growing team.

Megan Scott and Abigail MacDonald joined NMBS in early June. They will be working closely with sales and marketing manager Dean Hayward, and marketing communications manager Nicola Harley, developing creative marketing and communications strategies to encourage even closer relationships between NMBS, its members and suppliers.

Harley says: “We are delighted to welcome Megan and Abigail to NMBS. Abigail has joined us fresh from finishing her university degree, while Megan is currently working on a marketing apprenticeship, which she will finish in November this year. We believe they will both be a strong addition to our team, and are looking forward to introducing them to the opportunities of the builders’ merchant industry.

“We are keen to make sure they both have the chance to experience all the different marketing work that NMBS carries out, so they will be working on our exhibition, Buyers’ Guide, designing new communications, and managing the NMBS website, to give them as wide a breadth of knowledge as possible.”
