Builders Merchants Journal – BMJ Publishing to Builders Merchants and the UK merchanting industry for more than 95 years
New Milton Sand & Ballast (NMSB) have announced the acquisition of Hampshire firm Steve Perrins Supplies Ltd.
The acquisition of the small load supplies and builders merchants based at the Millstream Industrial Estate in Ringwood took effect on 31st December 2007. The business will continue to trade as Steve Perrins Supplies Ltd and will remain an independent company within the New Milton Sand & Ballast group.
NMSB managing director Trevor Poole believes the acquisition not only bodes well for both parties, but that customers will benefit too: “Steve Perrins started the business over 21 years ago and it has gradually expanded from one vehicle to where it is now with eight delivery trucks, nine full-time staff and the sales depot in Ringwood.
It has done this because it is successful; we respect this and do not plan to change the successful business model. Steve Perrins will be staying with the business for the immediate future and all of the existing staff can look forward to a bright future with New Milton Sand & Ballast Group”.
Steve & Margaret Perrins would like to thank all customers, for their support in the past and look forward to watching the continued growth of their former company now that it is part of a larger and well respected group.
