Specialist metal building products manufacturer, Expamet, has announced expansion plans following their acquisition by the Exmet Group.
The Group, headed by md Nigel Dickinson and chairman John Cowley, will restore association between the two arms of the company: Expamet, and Metpost and have announced a five-year plan.
The company will the focus on brand investment and expansion including a targeted acquisition strategy, to bring more companies from the building products and construction sectors under the Exmet umbrella.
“We want to be proactive – to make the company grow substantially in the long term,” said Mr Dickinson. “The brands are well-recognised and we now have the opportunity to build and develop them further, we will continue to grow our share of these sectors and look for the gaps in the ranges as we strive to maintain our position as market leaders.”
The Exmet Group has strong track record, including the acquisition of Marley Waterproofing, which they took from a loss-making company to a profitable market leader within two years.
