Ryobi have launched four new benchtop products for 2008: a drill press and three mitre saws.

The 305mm drill press features Exactline laser technology and variable speed with laser and digital read-out . This enables the user to adjust the drill speed without the need to use a manual pulley adjustment inside the gearbox.
To enhance comfort and efficiency, the drill press has been designed with Gripzone Overmould technology, while the purpose-built work table allows 360° rotation. The drill press accepts mortising attachments and features a locking depth stop for repetitive applications.
Each of the new mitre saws also utilises Exactline laser technology to improve cutting accuracy. The eight-inch, 10-inch and 12-inch mitre saws all feature ergonomically designed handles for improved comfort.
The 12-inch mitre saw has a 48-tooth TCT blade, a powerful 2,400watt motor and extra wide side extensions to support large timber. Each saw features DustTech intregrated dust technology to collect dust into a specially designed bag, and GripZone Overmould technology for added comfort.
