Builders merchant N&C Building Materials will host its annual St George’s Family Fun Day event this weekend (Saturday 26th April).

The event will see its premises off Freshwater Road, Dagenham transformed into a themed children’s wonderland and will feature a series of free activities, including a bouncy castle, ferris wheel, bungee, inflatable giant slide, penalty shootout, balloon modeling, fresh doughnuts, variety of stalls and much more.
The company says the main purpose of the event is to help raise awareness and donations through the raffle and voluntary donations for the registered charity, Children Today.
Children Today is a charity that raises funds to provide specialised equipment and services for children and young people with disabilities throughout the UK.
The event is being hosted with the support of The Daniel Project, a local, non-profitable organisation that functions to provide social programmes and aid in response to community issues within Barking and Dagenham.
David Forbes, chief executive officer for the Nicholls & Clarke Group, said: “As a local employer of approximately 150 local employees, we are delighted to be sponsoring the local community events again this year. St George’s day represents a time where the local community can get together and ignite community spirit. As a British manufacturer, retailer and distributor, we are proud to be a part of it.”
