NBG restructures for future growth

Independent builders merchant buying group NBG LLP gas restructured in the wake of its strategic ‘G24 group review’, that took place earlier in the year.

Allan Durning is heading up the new team as chief executive officer; he is currently executive chairman. Part of his role will be to work closely with the board members to promote best practice within the group and to monitor deal performance.

The Trading Board comprises: Jim Parlato and Ken Pepperrell (General Building); Neil Harbidge and Tom Parker (Bricks and Blocks); David Santi and Tim Rowbottom, (Civils and Landscaping); Mark Davies and Bob Fleetwood (Roofing and Insulation); Paul Conboy and Steve Robinson (Timber); Russell Ostrosky-Weston and Doug Brooker (Tools and Workwear); John Poore and Nick Bulpin (Paints, Coatings, Decorative and Hardware); Andrew Bentley and Bill Stobbs (Bathrooms, Kitchens and Tiles); Nigel Higgins and Nick House (Plumbing and Heating).
