Independent builders merchant buying group National Buying Group has added three new plumbers merchants to its partnership.
In the Central Region, independent plumbers merchant Plumco has joined the group. Established in 2000, the company has branches in Sheffield, Meadowhead, Rotherham & Doncaster.
In Newcastle-under-Lyme, the two-branch Newcastle Plumbing & Heating Supplies has become a partner. The company’s latest projects include a new showroom at the Newcastle branch and a new branch in Alsager.
The NBG Southern Region has expanded with the addition of Ware Heating & Bathroom Supplies in Ware, Hertfordshire. The family-run companyhas been established in Ware for over 26years. It is a family run business and has one main branch and a separate bathroom showroom.
NBG executive chairman Allan Durning said: “The selection criteria for acceptance into the Partnership is rigorous and the addition of Plumco, Newcastle P & H and Whabs reflects the level of quality that these businesses bring to NBG.
“We are receiving a high volume of applications from interested Merchants but few make it through to the Partnership status.
“The strategy of developing our Lightside strengths continues and this new intake of Partners reflects our growing strength and serious position in the Lightside space.”
