NBG adds three new merchant members

Independent builders merchant buying group NBG LLP has continued its expansion policy with the inclusion of three new merchant members.

In the northern region, the group has taken on Walker Timber, which has two depots in Edinburgh and one in Glasgow. It is part of the larger Walker Timber Group, based in Boness, West Lothian.

The southern region, meanwhile, has taken on Sussex Plumbing Supplies, with branches in St Leonards, Hailsham and Bexhill, as well as TEC Distributions plc in Maldon, Essex.

NBG executive chairman Alllan Durning said: “At NBG LLP have a rigorous selection process for potential Partners joining the Group and we are delighted to welcome the new Partners, who will all add value to the Group and continue our growth in the lightside and timber sectors.
