Independent builders merchant buying group NBG has added a new member to its growing list of plumbing and heating merchants.
Ashford Heating Supplies Ltd, based in Staines on Thames near Heathrow Airport, is has been run by cousins Cliff and Tanya Payne, for the last 25 years.
Cliff Payne said: “NBG with its competitive agreements, professional structure and strong support for its suppliers was an easy choice for us. We look forward to participating within the group and see this decision as a vital step forward for our future development and ambitious plans.”

The £3m Ashford Heating Supplies business has been developed through the marketing of leading brands and a clear focus on outstanding customer service with a strong retail showroom offer.
The company is currently undergoing a major refurbishment and expansion with showroom extended to 4,500 sq. Ft to allow it to feature 55 display bays, a separate tile studio as well as a children’s area, new customer toilets and a new name: “Bathe & Beyond”.
By demolishing a derelict building facing the London A30, a large customer car park is being created.
The grand opening is scheduled for late summer 2013 and a regional radio advertising campaign is planned.
