Naylor voted People’s Champion

Edward Naylor, chief executive of Naylor Industries, has been voted ‘People’s Champion’ in the prestigious CBI Human Capital Awards.

Naylor Industries, the Barnsley manufacturers of clay and plastic pipes and concrete lintels, were also awarded the ‘Growing Business’ Award for their progress in product and business development.

The Awards celebrate the impact of personnel practices on the performance of both public and private sector organisations.

The judges described Naylor’s complete reinvention of themselves over the last 15 years as ‘a story of total change management from start to finish’.

Edward Naylor said: “I was delighted to receive the awards on behalf of all those who have worked hard to revitalise the business.”
