Napier takes on new Lafarge role

Lafarge Aggregates & Concrete UK has appointed Gordon Napier to the new position of director: major projects.

Napier, currently regional business manager south Wales, will be tasked with ensuring Lafarge A&C UK secures its share of work from major projects that are anticipated to take place in sectors such as nuclear, wind and renewable energy, transport and waste and water.

Napier takes up his new role from September 1 2010. The role will operate across all three UK A&C business units and will work in close cooperation with Lafarge Cement UK.

It is intended the role will report by rotation to the A&C UK managing directors, initially reporting to Jeremy Greenwood, managing director Readymix.
