Builders merchant Martin Moran took part in the Major Series South challenge to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital.

On 17th March this year, Moran, director at London independent MP Moran ran the 12km cross country course through Eridge Park near Tunbridge Wells.

A 3,000 acre private estate, the terrain included rolling hills, steep hills, forests, huge lakes and streams muddy ditches and trenches.

Taking just under 90 minutes to complete, Moran’s run raised £10,000 for his chosen charity, Great Ormond Street Hospital.

The donation was made possible due to generous sponsorship by Moran’s friends, the company and its suppliers.
