MKM’s Chester move makes 52


Independent buikders merchant MKM has opened its 52nd branch, in the north west city of Chester.

It is the company’s sixth in the North West and includes the full product portfolio, including building supplies, timber, plumbing, heating and  state-of-the-art kitchen and bathroom showrooms.

Hull-based MKM operate branches throughout England and Scotland with a target of over 100 locations by 2022.

Craig Bainbridge and Jamie Wilcock are Branch Directors at the site on Winsford Way, Sealand Industrial Estate, Chester. Bainbridge, said: “It’s unbelievably exciting to be cutting the ribbon on the brand-new MKM Chester branch. We’ve put together a skilled team of local people who can’t wait to get started serving our retail and trade customers.
