MKM opens doors in Yeovil

Expansion-hungry independent builders merchant MKM has opened a new branch in Yeovil.

The branch opened its doors on August 5, on Lufton Trading Estate, and offers a wide-range of building essentials for roofing, joinery, timber supplies, kitchens and bathrooms.

MKM Yeovil is headed up by an experienced industry trio, including Paul Costello, Nathan Cassidy and Mike Towill all with many years expertise working within the trade.

Paul Costello has 42 years industry experience, having spent his early career at a local timber merchant and over 30 years with a local builders merchant.

David Kilburn, executive chairman of Hull-based MKM said: “Our team at Yeovil is very experienced and has an in-depth understanding of what trade customers need and will provide a customer service that is second to none.”

MKM Yeovil held an exclusive event for customers to mark its opening. Around 140 guests were given the VIP treatment: a live band, a roulette table, beer, champagne and food.
