Mira’s miniatures mean more for merchants

Mira showers are extending their existing range with the introduction of a suite of miniature mixer showers: mixer valves that are half the size of conventional models.

The range is available in built-in and exposed single sequential control valves, concentric control valves and exposed vertical dual control valves.

The single sequential control of Minilite and the concentric control of Miniduo provide a conventional look and feel, while Minibelle and Miniluxe introduce a new vertical format to shower controls

For retrofit installations of a standard-sized valve an adjustable elbow pack is available, allowing Minilite and Miniduo inlet centres to be adjusted from 133mm to 153mm. All models offer a smaller, more minimalist shower design and are easy to fit and commission, plus leave more space within shower enclosures.

Mira have also introduced six complete shower kits, which each comprise a handset, slide bar, hose, hose retaining ring and soapdish. Two sold-alone showerheads are also available.

The six kits are: Everclear, designed for hard water areas as it resists and clears limescale; Response, a conventional design aimed at the replacement market; Logic, with improved features including additional grip features and alternative rub-clean nozzles; Discovery, offering a streamlined look and four spray modes; StarGlide, a space-saver which can be mounted on a flat wall or in a corner and Waterveil, which has a 174cm, five-mode handset with 67 individual nozzles for an “all over shower experience”. Discovery and Waterveil are available as sold-alone showerheads.

Finally, the company has added the Magna Combination Pack, which includes the Mira Magna fittings and mixer unit in one box. Available from the end of this month the pack is designed to simplify ordering – nothing can be forgotten, there is only one part number and there’s no risk of half the system being out of stock.

Four packs are being introduced: pumped digital mixer with either a UV or BIR fitting, and pumped high pressure digital mixer with UV or BIR fitting.
