The latest generation of Vie electric showers from Mira Showers – the UK’s leading manufacturer of showering products and accessories – features a wholly redesigned shower engine and casing that simplifies installation.
Now the top fixing point for the casing is outside the seal and the fixing slots are easy to access, while a plastic stub connect replaces the swivel connector found in the previous model so there is far more room in which to work.
The Vie now comes equipped with Mira’s patented ClearscaleTM technology, which reduces limescale by up to 50% and can double the shower’s working life. The shower’s patented DualElementTM heater tank has two heating elements that are wrapped around each other – like a DNA helix – so that the heat is distributed more evenly.
Using two elements also cuts limescale because the water circulates in a greater space and there is a larger gap between both elements and the coils of each element so particles of limescale cannot settle.
Controls include an on/off push button and a separate control for temperature/flow and it comes with a single mode showerhead that has a rub-clean nozzle. Fitted with left-hand water and cable entry points, the Vie is supplied in white only and in just two models: 8.5kW and 9.5kW.
