The four new sites, located in White City, Canterbury, Tewkesbury and Bridgwater are geographically well placed to support Minster’s local, regional and national customers.    Minster managing director Nadine Matthews says: “More than ever, these new sites will play a pivotal role in supporting our customers delivering the vital schemes that will underpin the recovery of the UK construction economy.  Despite the obvious and unprecedented impact of COVID-19, we have been able to stick rigidly to our objective of getting these sites up and running and in doing so have created much-needed jobs.”

White City Minster has been set-up as a dedicated supply chain hub for London. Providing contractors, developers and housebuilders in the commercial, residential and health care sectors easy and convenient access and enabling the company to meet the needs of customers who now, under COVID-19 measures, will be operating more varied and flexible site operating times.

Canterbury Minster is in a prime location to support the successful, neighbouring Aylesford branch.  Meanwhile the sites in Tewkesbury and Bridgwater have opened in direct response to customer demand.  Minster will continue to operate its regional key account structure to ensure national customers immediately benefit from the addition of these four new sites.

Matthews continues: “The construction industry has changed forever.  When we chose these locations we could never have predicted that construction sites would be seeking new ways to increase productivity while operating with reduced work forces, operating at unusual times – these new sites put our expertise and products even closer to where they are needed and enable us to work with our customers to design supply-chain procedures that reflect the new normal.

“There’s no question, these new sites give us a tremendous footprint across the UK at a critical time for our regional and national customers and pave the way for news of further expansion in the coming months.  It’s a source of great pride that during such challenging economic times we have been able to boost employment in these four areas.”
