Milwaukee expand range for 2009

The M12 cordless 12v range and M18 cordless 18v range, includes combi drivers, impact drivers, angle grinders and jigsaws, all of which offer strength, heavy-duty durability and flexibility. All are powered by LITHIUM-ION batteries.

The new M18 18v Lithium-Ion cordless tool system delivers more torque, more power and a longer run-time and will be a 40-tool system, with star players in the range including the 18v drill driver, impact driver, Circular saw, reciprocating saw and jigsaw.

Also new for 2009 is a series of new hammers and combi hammers, including the new Kango 750S 7kg rotary hammer. Utilizing a counter balance system to fight vibration at its source, the Kango 750S 7kg rotary hammer results in a tri-axial vibration measurement of 9.5m/s². When combined with a 16 joule impact energy, the highest in its class, this makes it the most productive 7kg available.

Another tool from the range includes the new PH30 PowerQX Combi Hammer – also set to be a star player in 2009. With an 820w high power motor, the thermal motor cut off ensures the motor is never overloaded, therefore increasing durability. It also uses IMB technology in gear mechanism for extended lifetime and has the lowest vibration in its class due to the AVC feature.
