Merchants shortlisted for construction marketing awards

Campaigns by builders merchant Build Center and plumbers merchant BSS are among those shortlisted for this year’s Construction Marketing Awards.

Also making the short-list are manufacturers Acheson & Glover, Glidden Trade, Fermacell, Lafarge, Catnic, Polypipe, Surestop and Knauf.

The Awards are organised by CIMSIG and Ian Exall, chairman of the judges said: “I’m really pleased with another year of record entries. It shows marketers’ creativity and Enterprise is not dulled by the awful economy. I’m also really pleased by the growing strategic influence CIMCIG members are obviously having on their companies’ activities.

“The quality of the entries was the highest I’ve ever seen, in particular in the ‘strategy’ category – where companies taking marketing seriously at board level are clearly outperforming those who do not.”

More than 30 companies and 20 agencies are shortlisted under 15 categories.
