Northampton builders merchant Martin & Partners Builders & Plumbers Merchants of Northampton has held two fundraising events for a back-care charity.
The two day Charity Car wash for BackCare, the charity for Healthier Backs, was supported by both customers, suppliers and surrounding businesses and raised almost £200. However, prior to that, sales director Mark Leggatt completed the London Marathon for this charity in 4 hours 55 min and raised £1300.
Other charity events planned are a family fun day in August, for the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire air ambulance and the Red Wine charity golf day, which is to be held on the 13th October in aid of the Special Baby Care Unit at the Kettering General Hospital and Cancer Research, played at Cold Ashby Golf Club in Northamptonshire.
