The certification was presented by BM TRADA Certification UK’s chief operating officer Vic Bowen.

T Brewer & Co supply many of London’s most high-profile construction and renovation projects. The dual certification raises still further the company’s ability to engage with major contractors.

Company director Nick Brewer said: “Major contractors are constantly developing their benchmarks for suppliers, setting the bar ever higher. We recently hosted a visit by members of the UK Contractors Group working on environmental audit systems – companies like LendLease, Wilmott Dixon, Sir Robert McAlpine and regeneration specialist Keepmoat. London is also the UK’s development capital, for infrastructure and housing, making it even more essential for suppliers to keep their compliance at the highest possible level to remain competitive.”

Vic Bowen, Chief Operating Officer of BM TRADA Certification UK, who presented the certificate, said: “In many industry sectors quality and environmental management systems certification is a passport to trade, and with tightening legislation and increasing customer awareness, proving company credentials is a must if organisations are to be competitive today, and remain so tomorrow.

“By achieving the certification to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, T Brewer & Co. makes a powerful statement about its drive for continual improvement, increased efficiencies, and will be recognised as an environmentally-friendly and progressive company.”
