LG Harris, the paint brushes and decorating tools people have added a new two-handed stripper to their range of decorator’s tools.
Available with 4in and 6in blade widths, the Power Stripper incorporates a sharp, replaceable ground steel blade housed at the top of a 500mm lightweight aluminium pole, which has a comfortable grip at its base.
The power-stripper is priced at £4.89 for the 4in and £6.89 for the 6in. Replacement blades are available in 4in and 6in sizes in packs of two.
A fully adjustable side handle can slide into any position along and on either side of the pole and can then be fixed into position to give a firm two-handed grip, allowing the user to generate more power to provide better control when in use.
The power-stripper is an ideal utility tool for removing paper, tiles, floor coverings and hardened adhesives and well as paint from glass and other hard surfaces. The long handle also allows access to awkward corners.
Matt Lawrence, marketing manager, says: “The power stripper makes an excellent addition to our range of DIY stripping tools for the dedicated home decorator. It’s light, flexible and easy to use. Having two handles means you can really get some muscle into removing stubborn paint and paper.”
