Leica Geosystems, part of Hexagon, has announced the opening of its new office in Casablanca to bring quality solutions and enhance the efficiency of services in Morocco, and strengthen its position on the African continent.
The opening of a subsidiary in Morocco is part of Leica Geosystems’ global growth strategy, aiming at providing better service and local expertise to its customers and partners.
After reviewing the economic progress over the last few years in Morocco, it is clear that the kingdom has a strong development plan and is open for business. The plan involves the development of the infrastructure of the country – developing the road, rail and port facilities, which will encourage further economic development regionally. Leica Geosystems is opening its first location in Morocco to better support the local industry professionals in this development.
‘’We look forward to developing a strong sustainable business in Morocco and being the partner of choice,‘’ said Mark Concannon, executive vice president of Hexagon’s Geosystems Division.
‘’With the economic development of Morocco and Africa overall, professionals need quality products and solutions they can rely on to support the many projects going on in the country. Leica Geosystems can be the trusted resource they need,‘’ said Faiz Oumghar, general manager of Leica Geosystems Morocco. ‘’We are a pioneer and leader at the same time in this region. Our expertise and know-how differentiate us in the spatial geo capture market through a qualitative approach.‘’
