Laker launches new Crawley store

Laker Builders Merchant has launched its new Crawley store. Following the acquisition of an additional unit at the Crawley branch, the team at Laker, led by MD, Steve Robinson and founder, Ady Laker, have created a new spacious and brightly lit store, offering a more welcome atmosphere.

Steve Robinson said: “This new shop allows Laker to be much more retail friendly, whilst still giving our core Trade Customers the excellent service they expect from us.”

The larger unit the store sits within is run as a forklift free zone to prioritise customer safety, has improved customer access and parking for up to 12 customers. Laker has also stayed in in line with its green ethos with the addition of LED lighting and air source heat pumps using eco-friendly R32 gas.

Household name suppliers came out in droves to support Laker on the day, including Bostik, Mannok, Crown, OX Tools, NoMorePly, TIMCO, XL Joinery, Stanley, Irwin, Cure It, Reisser and Werner provided extra discounts and donated prizes including bluetooth speakers, Amazon vouchers, toolboxes, screwdrivers and a bottle of champagne to support the nominated charity.

In celebration of the new store, Laker is offering up to 20% discount with all new trade accounts for the next two weeks.
