Lagan Cement Products Ltd is the latest company to join the Builders Merchants Federation (BMF) as a supplier member.
The privately-owned family business, part of the Lagan Group of companies headquartered in Belfast, sells bagged cement, concrete, roof tiles and facing bricks into the UK market
In 2002, Lagan constructed its own cement manufacturing facility on a 750-acre site with the capacity to produce 700,000 tonnes of cement per annum.
Welcoming Lagan to the BMF, John Newcomb, managing director, said: “Lagan’s history of growth and expansion as a family business is underpinned by an overriding objective to achieve customer satisfaction and trust. Like the BMF they look to build momentum and focus in their business and I’m delighted to welcome them into membership.”
