Lafarge Plasterboard have announced they will be supporting Industry charity CRASH’s ‘No Christmas Card’ campaign in 2007 for the seventh consecutive year.
The scheme encourages companies to donate the money they would have spent on corporate Christmas cards to the charity, to fund its work helping homelessness charities.
Lafarge Plasterboard md Bruce Slatton said: “CRASH is a hugely worthwhile charity and one which, as patron, we support in various ways throughout the year. The No Christmas Card campaign has already become something of a tradition at Lafarge, thanks largely to our customers who appreciate that not sending a card can still very much be in the spirit of Christmas!”
In 2006, more than £88,000 was raised by companies swapping Christmas cards cards for cash.
